About

Phosphorescence imaging is a photoluminescence-based imaging modality employed for the spatial mapping and quantitative analysis of phosphorescent phenomena in various materials and systems. This technique relies on exciting a sample with incident radiation and subsequently detecting the delayed, time-resolved emission of light resulting from the radiative decay of excited triplet states, which persists significantly longer than fluorescence, thereby providing distinct information about sample composition, environment, or dynamics.
